This site contains the latest versions of software for connecting your Windows PC to the Internet via SLIP (Serial Line Interface Protocol) as well as clients for taking advantage of that connection once you have it. The user must then contact Halcyon (Interactive Access Division of Northwest Nexus) or Northwest Nexus to change to a SLIP account. The configuration file for Northwest Nexus is also included. Files at this server contain Harry Kriz's 'getting started' instructions for Trumpet Winsock and popular Winsock Clients, ASCII and Notepad-format files to get Trumpet Winsock running under Windows for Workgroups, Finger31, a graphical FTP client, a gopher client, information about viewers to use with the gopher client and where to get them, PCEudora mail client, additional viewers for WWW graphics and NCSA's Mosaic, and much more.
